Prairie Village, KS (June 8, 2005):On June 4th, representatives of Black Cat Marketing USA and Seasonal Sales were presented a special Citation of Appreciation Certificate by Representative Mike Shelton, district 97 of the State of Oklahoma.
The Citation acknowledges the longevity and associated respect developed by Li & Fung and Shiu Fung Fireworks, owners and producers of Black Cat® Fireworks for the past 54 years. It also recognizes the positive impact of the work that Seasonal Sales and Black Cat Marketing USA have done in building outstanding relationships with many Community Organizations throughout the great State of Oklahoma. The sale of Fireworks has been a traditional Fundraising favorite and has contributed millions of dollars to these organizations over the years. "We are extremely proud of this acknowledgement", said Ralph Apel, President of Black Cat Marketing USA. "We've known all along that the Quality of our Products have made it a favorite among Community Organizations and Partners like Seasonal Sales have made it easy for these groups to partake in our success". BLACK CAT® FIREWORKS BURST ON THE SCENE AT THE MILWAUKEE MILE (West Allis, WI) January 19, 2004 - Today, officials from The Milwaukee Mile announced Black Cat® Fireworks, producers of quality fireworks for over 50 years in the United States, as the title sponsor of the speedway's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, to now be known as the "Black Cat® Fireworks 200." The race will be the first NASCAR event in the track's 100 year history to be held at night. It was announced in mid-December the one-mile oval would contest both the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Busch Series events under the lights, the weekend of June 24, 25 and 26. "This is the first time Black Cat® Fireworks has sponsored a NASCAR event, and we're excited to be teaming with The Milwaukee Mile," commented Ralph Apel, President of Golden Gate Fireworks, the U.S. Marketing Agent for Black Cat® Fireworks. "We know the sparks will be flying on the race track, and we're planning to have something special off the track for the fans attending the "Black Cat® Fireworks 200" on Friday night, June 25th!" This year, an agreement was reached to sponsor the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event.
