Fireworks Selling Seasons by State
Gift shops or stores that handle and/or specialize in fireworks may be permitted to be open Year Round in some U.S. markets to sell you fireworks at any time.
Seasonal Retailers operate locations (stores, tents, trailers, stands) that are only open on a limited basis to sell you fireworks. This might run 1-2 weeks per selling season and can extend up to 30 days or 6 months, again depending upon the state and local ordinances.
The dates listed below are the sale and Consumer pick up dates allowed by State laws for Seasonal Retailers only. An asterisk “ * “ below indicates Seasonal Retailers are not restricted on selling dates. In these cases the opening and closing dates of June 24 - July 4 and Dec. 26 - Jan. 1 are used as generally accepted selling season guidelines:
